Why do you think they can settle in a horror setting if they’re under 18?: IG-11 is a fairly fearsome and intimidating presence in his own right. He was built to handle himself in a variety of different combat situations, and the galaxy he hails from is home to many a wretched hive of scum, villainy, and other such monsters.
Canon Abilities/Powers: As an IG-series assassin droid, IG-11 is equipped with a multitude of combat-ready capabilities, including:
* Proficiency with blasters (firearms) and in hand-to-hand combat.
* Extreme superhuman strength, as demonstrated by his ability to lift an average-sized human in armor off the ground with one hand before flipping him onto his back.
* Enhanced speed, as demonstrated by catching up to two Imperial Stormtroopers on foot, even though the two of them were using speeder bikes to travel.
* Enhanced reflexes, which pair perfectly with an omnidirectional sensor array and a chassis capable of full 360-degree rotation, both of which allow for better tactical advantages when surrounded by enemies.
* The ability to reliably pilot ground craft (for example, speeder bikes).
* A plasma cutting tool, which allows for him to cut through metal grates or solid objects.
It's also worth noting that within his chest is a hidden panel. When opened, it reveals a small spherical self-detonation device that is to be activated as a last resort against capture, so as to prevent enemies from analyzing his design and replicating his capabilities.
Though still an extremely capable combatant, IG-11 was recently reprogrammed to become a nurse droid by an Ugnaught named Kuiil. As such, he's been outfitted with bacta spray within his arm. Bacta is a fast-acting restorative solution that, applied as an aerosol, allows for an injured organic to be healed within a matter of hours.
In addition to Galactic Basic (the default language of the
Star Wars universe), he's also capable of understanding binary (droidspeak), a language of beeps and whistles used by many droids to communicate with each other.
He also makes a mean pot of tea. What is their greatest negative emotion towards an object, situation, or person in their past?: His sacrificial death in order to protect the Child, the Mandalorian, and the others in their party. Although he acknowledges the Mandalorian's statement that his primary objective (protecting the Child from harm) should supersede his manufacturer's protocols (to self-destruct in the event of capture), IG-11 indicates that sadly, there is no possible outcome in which the Child escapes capture and IG-11 survives.
Having resigned himself to his fate, he leaves the safety of the party's raft and trudges alone through a knee-deep river of molten lava to the mouth of the sewer tunnel where Imperial Stormtroopers lie in wait before activating the detonation device in his chassis and allowing himself to self-destruct. Suffice it to say, it's a pretty brutal death.
How strongly do they feel about the negative subject matter, on the scale of one to ten?: 5. Though his decision to sacrifice himself is powerful, he makes it with the sort of objectivity and clinical pragmatism that most droids are known for. He realizes he can no longer serve as the Child's protector, but he also understands that the Child will be safe with the Mandalorian. In ensuring the party's safety, IG-11 knows he will also have served his purpose.
What is their greatest virtue?: Prior to his rehabilitation by Kuiil, one might think it to be his ruthless combat efficiency or his adherence to the strict clauses and bylaws of the Bounty Hunters' Guild. Life with Kuiil, however, has demonstrated the droid's greatest virtue is his potential for growth. It's true that IG-11 was designed to be a lethal killing machine, but as Kuiil points out, droids are not good nor evil; they are neutral reflections of those that program them.
With patience, guidance, and positive affirmation, IG-11 slowly develops a friendlier personality (if not still eccentric), and demonstrates capabilities many would not associate with a droid of his caliber. It's evident in the way he uses those pincer-like hands of his to prepare tea with delicacy, or the way he affectionately runs a digit along the Child's floppy green ear as he says his farewells.
How aware are they of their virtue, on a scale from one to ten?: 10. Although little of his original memories remained after Kuiil restored IG-11 to life, he is aware of his original nature, and is even more aware of his new doctrine.
In a near-death situation, the Mandalorian even offers IG-11 the opportunity to finish him off once and for all, but instead, IG-11 saves the Mandalorian's life with an unexpected sort of tenderness. True, he's still a lethal combatant that is not to be underestimated. But although his original function was to hunt, he demonstrates a defiance of his nature with newfound purpose and resolve. His primary objective, after all, is to nurse and protect.

I'm interested in limiting it to one use in order to keep things fair in game, as I would not want for him to rely on this ability as a constant crutch for otherwise inescapable situations that may pop up in-game.
